Raynes Park has one of the largest proportions of green spaces in South West London. Most notably, Cannon Hill Common which boasts 21 hectares of open space and contains woodland over 140 years old as well as various species of trees and flowers. Other popular green spaces include Wimbledon Common, Prince George’s Playing Fields and John Innes Recreation Ground in Merton Park.

Originally named The Bushey Mead Estate back in the early 1900’s, The Apostles are a group of 12 roads that typically consisted of two bedroom terraced houses from end to end. The roads which have been extended over the years, were named by district nurses as a way of identifying where they were going. They’re easily recognisable from above with 12 roads running vertically between the A298 and A238.

Right next to Raynes Park train station is The Cavern Freehouse, it’s a very cute and unassuming pub known for its live rock and roll music every night of the week. There are also various restaurants including Lime and Tyme, boasting Mediterranean style cuisine it’s one of our personal favourites, they have good food and great gelato!
